The five members of the Executive Committee are elected by the Council for a two-year term. taking into account proposals made by DLANC committees the Executive Committee advises the Council on matters relating to DLANC and establishes the agenda for all meetings. In accordance with its bylaws, the Executive Committee ensures that results and recommendations from the Council are communicated to the appropriate governmental person or agency.
