THE BRADBURY BUILDING

Internationally famed for its architectural elegance and uniqueness, the Bradbury was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977. It was designed in 1893 by architect George Wyman, who rumor prevails, only took the commission because his dead brother told him to - in a ghostly Ouija board message. The magnificence of the building is the five story interior atrium with extensive wrought iron lacework and skylight.

Park[ing] Day 2011

This year we are hoping to demonstrate what a "green" parking lot might look like. Help us cover the dirt lot (future parking lot) at the Downtown Los Angeles Youth & Cultural Center with little parks for a day as part of Park[ing] Day LA 2011!
